Caleb Meath is Innovation and Research Policy Manager at the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI). His priorities include building public trust in the use of health data for research, ensuring UK health data infrastructure meets user needs, and positioning the UK to take advantages of developments in AI in the life sciences for patient benefit.
Recent projects have included the NHS Health Data Use Case Study Library, the Innovate UK – ABPI AI Medicines Discovery Symposium and Globally competitive UK-wide data-enabled clinical trials: the time is now.
In previous roles Caleb has also led on AI, data and innovation policy including at the Confederation of British Industry and Council of Deans of Health.
