Ceri Steele sits on the Executive Group for use MY data and has been involved with public involvement and engagement work for about three years.

Ceri has several health issues, having had three head injuries, two dislocations and oesophageal cancer. She also has an underactive thyroid, bronchiectasis and has had two seizures, so Ceri is involved in several different areas of research.

Ceri is also a Guts UK ‘expert by experience’, and a member of the UK and Ireland Oesophagogastric Cancer Group‘s management group, Southampton Clinical Trials Unit and Leeds Clinical Trials Unit management groups, South East Genomic Medicine Service patient panel, Public Engagement in Research for health and Social Policy at Exeter (PERSPEX) patient panel, Thames Valley and Surrey Secure Data Environment management group, RadNet and Arcturis patient groups.
