Amy is the Strategic and Operational Lead for PEDRI’s Learning and Development workstream.

At Health Data Research UK she is Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement Manager. Her role supports the strategic direction of patient and public involvement and engagement within the British Heart Foundation Data Science Centre, Big Data for Complex Disease Driver Programme, and PEDRI.

With a background in health psychology, Amy has worked across a variety of public and third sector settings, promoting the importance of a holistic and person-centred approach to healthcare. She is passionate about collaborating with patients and the public to co-develop healthcare services and research.

Prior to joining Health Data Research UK, Amy worked within the Involvement Team at Diabetes UK, supporting meaningful involvement of people affected by and at risk of diabetes throughout the work of the charity. As part of this, Amy worked closely with National Health Service England (NHSE), facilitating user insight research to help shape and review national NHSE diabetes programmes.
